Jelly Roll Rug Class
Join us for a fun and creative journey as you learn to make a beautiful 30” x 44” jelly roll rug, perfect for adding a splash of color to any space in your home! This class includes a jelly roll, batting strips and a Gypsy Jelly Roll tube maker.
In the first session, you'll discover the art of creating fabric "rope" from jelly roll strips. This hands-on experience will equip you with the skills to craft a sturdy and vibrant base for your rug. We'll discuss techniques, fabric choices, and tips for ensuring your rope is uniform and easy to work with.
In the second session, bring your finished rope roll and watch your creation come to life! You'll learn how to skillfully stitch the rope into a stunning rug. With guidance on shaping and finishing techniques, you'll leave with a cozy rug that showcases your personal style.

Materials Needed:
Sewing Machine capable of doing a 5mm or larger zig-zag stitch, with an open-toe footSewing Machine Needles: Jeans needle
Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, etc.)
Skill Level: All skill levels welcome! Whether you're a beginner or have sewing experience, this class is designed to be enjoyable and accessible.
